For this post, I decided to write just a quick blurb about the last couple years and then do a #photodump. I am sorry that I have been silent for so long! I have been distracted with all the winemaking fun. Here is a quick bulleted overview of the last couple years:
- I finished making a glorious 2020 Petite Sirah (my first commercial wine); it is bottled and waiting for a label!
- I bought over 10 TONS of grapes in 2021; varieties: Petite Sirah, Viognier, Mourvèdre, and Tannat (if you don’t know about Tannat, look it up and go find some to try!)
- In total, I have SIX commercial wines completed or in-the-works (aging)
- 2020 Petite Sirah
- 2021 Viognier
- 2021 Mourvèdre Rosé
- 2021 Mourvèdre
- 2021 Petite Sirah
- 2021 Tannat
- I plan to have the first four wines in the list above available for sale sometime THIS SUMMER!
